The Hafsatu Gimba Ahmed Memorial School (HGA) Potiskum, Yobe State, has started selling forms for enrollment of new students into nursery and primary classes.

The forms are available at the school premises in Unguwar Jaji area, Potiskum, Yobe State.

The school was built and commissioned in August 2024 by veteran journalist, Dr. Hassan Gimba, anipr, the publisher and editor-in-chief of Neptune Prime, in memory of his late mother, Hajiya Hafsatu Gimba Ahmed.

The school is equipped to provide quality education to students and to ensure deployment of qualified teachers.

In respect to that, HGA held a training session for newly appointed teachers to expose them to new and acceptable methods of teaching in line with global best practices.

Malam Musa Yawale Mato (of College of Administration, Management and Technology, Potiskum) and Dr. Abdullahi Mamuda (of Federal College of Technical Education, Potiskum), conducted the training during a workshop held at the school premises at Unguwar Jaji area Potiskum.

HGA Memorial School, which has nursery and primary sections, has started selling forms into nursery one and Primary one.

HGA has a goal of providing good and quality education to pupils with a view to build good academic foundation for learners.

Qualified teachers have been provided to teach in various fields, including Islamiyya education.

Similarly, the school has provided modern teaching materials, such as computers, slates etc that will make learning faster and easier for students.

Moreso, HGA Memorial School incorporates skills acquisition to inculcate various kinds of life-transforming crafts into its students.
